Some history
In the olden days, the white, salt-like powder known as Borax used to be a widely used home remedy. It was known for its soothing and cleaning properties.
Many people today report great benefits from using it for arthritis or skin conditions.
But, as is the case with many natural and home remedies, over time, they have fallen out of favor, became suppressed and less easily accessible, as well as any information about them.
So, now we have a situation where many benign herbs and minerals are sold labeled with danger warnings and it is lawfully prohibited to complement them with information about their healing properties.
Meanwhile, commercial drugs and procedures which are the 4th leading cause of death is what we call ‘the health care system’? Hmmm, does anything appear just a tad upside down in the kingdom of modern medicine? I’ll leave that for you to decide.
In any case, Borax is one of the minerals depleted from our soil, and many say supplementing it in their diet via ingesting has helped them with various health complaints.

But if the warning labels leave you a little uncomfortable, here’s an alternative that doesn’t have one (yet).
Perhaps you saw one of my previous articles that has addressed the potential use of homeopathic borax for Lichen sclerosis. This high dilution remedy works purely at an energetic level to influence the source of the imbalance which is causing LS, but it doesn’t have any nutritional value since there aren’t any molecules of Borax left.
Preparation and nutritional value
Now, there is yet another way of using homeopathically potentized Borax, which is using it as a homeopathic nutritional supplement. It is akin to the use of Dr. Schuessler’s tissue salts – which is a system developed to supply essential mineral nutrition on a cellular level. (I wrote a whole article on Tissue salts which can be found on my blog)
These remedies are prepared the same way as regular homeopathic remedies, but the number of dilutions is much lower. Therefore, they retain some nutritional value of the original substance they’re made off. Not as much as is found for instance in a regular boron supplement, but due to the way they were processed, with much higher bio-availability due to the potentized (energetically fortified) nature of those remedies.
The actual amount of Borax would be minimal, or rather infinitesimal, but their impact perhaps even stronger. But mainly, it’s all made in pharmaceutical quality and according to pharmaceutical principles.
Dosage
How to use homeopathic Borax as nutritional supplement which is safe to ingest
Use Borax in the 6X or 3X potency. This means that one part of the original substance (in this case Borax) has been diluted and succused (shaken) in a ratio of 1:9 and the process repeated three or six times, depending on the number in front of the X (X or also D standing for ‘decimal dilution’).
Of this you would take 1 pellet twice daily for a longer period of time. Usually two to six months.
Additional benefits
Any potency of homeopathic Borax will also make your bodies use of crude borax, as in soaks and sitz-baths more effective, as it supports the body energetically to better utilize what it is taking in.
Where to purchase
You can buy Borax 6X easily on Amazon directly from the renowned manufacturer Boiron. Or order it from online homeopathic dispensaries worldwide. Possibly also in your local health store or pharmacy.

I made up a boron solution mixing a teaspoon of borax in a litre of water. I then took a teaspoon a day. After a while I noticed I was waking at night and not able to go back to sleep. So I stopped and the problem went away. Is this common or was it even related? Does this mean I don’t need any more boron?
This post is about homeopathic Borax, not crude borax which is different. I’m not really the right person to address this question to. You need to ask someone who uses crude borax.
The Root cause protocol recommends taking boron in morning. Its an energy molecule for metabolic processes. Totally takes care of brain fog so i imagine it can prevent some from sleep. It may affect the pineal gland functions (levels of melatonin). Google search “Boron and Sleep and pineal gland functions” to see what you find!
I had the same experience with the homemade solution. Thanks for the information about the difference.
