There’s four books on LS available on Amazon:
1. The most known and most expensive one which includes a protocol which is something so many people like to hear (the cost of it goes into thousands $ per year) and lots of dietary advice and lifestyle changes. Just be aware that those will not work if “people have other issues they are unaware of, including an under-performing liver, or lymphatic blockage.” according to Ginny in response to one of the reviewers :
Lichen Sclerosis Beating the Disease by Ginny Chandoha
2. Another holistic guide was written by someone with a background in holistic healing. This is the only one I’ve read. It gets my stamp of approval as it offers lots of tips on how to approach your LS from all the angles, esp. things that worked for the author. But in the end, I kinda feel it doesn’t change anything and one wouldn’t know what to do next or where to start. But, as an overview of all the dietary, emotional, sexual, etc. influences on LS it works well and is informative:
How to Live Happily Ever After “Down Under”: The How To Thrive With Lichen Sclerosis Guide by Tammie Quick

3. A personal story of an LS patient who’s LS got better when he started living healthier. Apparently it reads like a long blog post. Reviewers say it has an uplifting tone. So if you’re looking to be uplifted and feel that simply kicking unhealthy lifestyle habits is the key for your LS, then I say why not. It’s only a few pages after all:
4. And finally, one written by a doctor. Not sure what’s in it apart from what you can find on Google in terms of conventional knowledge about the treatment and diagnostics of LS. So if you want to stay in the conventional tracks, this one might be for you. Don’t know why it’s called ‘How to heal it’ as the allopathic approach doesn’t really heal anything, but let me know if you read it:
Lichen sclerosis: How to heal it by Sandra Cabot
If you’ve read any of these, what did you think about them?
And if there was another book written, by someone let’s say like me (ie. from the holistic and psycho-emotional angle), what would you want to find in it? (protocols and dietary advice excluded)
