What you absolutely need to know before using this potent system of healing
1. Homeopathy is popular!
Homeopathy is the second healing modality of choice in the world according to who. It’s a complete healing system that can be applied to anything from mental/emotional illness, and all physical conditions bar traumatic injuries and cavities, although even those cases can be supported by homeopathy for better healing results and reduction of emotional stress.
2. Storage of remedies
Since homeopathic remedies are usually first and foremost carriers of energetic information they can be influenced by electromagnetic waves. Don’t store them near the sources such as wi-fi’s, microwaves, TVs, mobile phones, etc.
3. Strong smells
As with EMF’s above, homeopathic remedies might be antidoted by strong smells and substances, therefore, it is recommended to store them away from perfumes, spices, etc. and reduce the use of those when you’re taking homeopathy Coffee, mint toothpaste, camphor, garlic, onion should be only used 1/2 hour apart from taking homeopathic pills or better yet avoided entirely since possible antidoting is dependent on individual sensitivity.
4. Do not touch the pills
…unless they are for you and you are entirely sure your hands are clean of any antidoting substances ie. fragrant soap. Preferably drop the pill into the cap and from there directly to your mouth, without touching your mouth. Or use a clean spoon that was previously boiled in non-soapy water.
5. Direction of healing
According to Herring’s law, true natural healing follows the directions of ‚inside out‘; top to bottom; and last to first. This means that if your whole body is covered in a rash, it will first disappear at the top of your body, and last from your feet. If you suffer with a rash and a depression, the emotional state will lift first, and the physical symptoms second. Of course, there are exceptions to the rule and only a qualified provider can determine whether the progress leads towards healing or just suppression.

6. Aggravation, good or bad?
A homeopathic aggravation is a common phenomenon. It means the re-appearance of long-forgotten symptoms or a temporary aggravation of current ones. It’s the body’s way of dealing with symptoms that it didn’t have a chance to heal previously and is usually seen as a good thing which is useful in monitoring the proper progress. However, when a remedy is administered in the exact potency matching the vibration of the patient, the aggravation might not occur. The production of old symptoms is usually a sign of either too low or too high a potency where the life force is either overstimulated or under-stimulated.
7. Polycomposit mixes or mono?
There are many different schools and approaches to homeopathy. The original form and fundamental rules were set by Samuel Hahnemann some 200 years ago, but even his approach has changed during his life. This form is what is understood under *classical homeopathy* and was described in his book The Organon. Some homeopaths follow this dogmatically as if it were scripture, while others became bit lose and even experimental over time, while other schools yet embarked upon commercializing homeopathy and went on to discard the idea of individual prescribing for the whole patient. As with any modality, everything evolves, as do we. My take on this – take whatever works, discard the rest, don’t get caught in dogma, keep your mind open.
Polycomposit remedies are mixes that include several remedies at once. The upside is that you don’t need to try one by one and wait a long time to see results, you just pop them all at once and you don’t need any knowledge of what you’re doing. Simply buy a poly composite mix for your condition and see what happens. This may work well for simple acute conditions, where you need quick results. The downside is that you don’t know which of the remedies actually produced the cure. This would be unthinkable in the management of a longer termed illness, and this is where good old *classical homeopathy* works its magic – one remedy at a time tailored perfectly to the individual patient, and then… let’s just be patient.
8. Length of treatment
It is said that for every year of being chronically ill, you need about a month to heal. So if your chronic illness lasted for ten years, it would take about a year to see it cured*. This is much faster than for instance herbalism or traditional Chinese medicine but by no means a quick fix. It’s a permanent fix we are aiming for. The advantage homeopathy offers here is its easy administration. You don’t need to daily brew any bitter potions to take for months and months, you don’t need to buy bottles upon bottles of various tinctures, you don’t need to go get needles or physical treatments to pay for every week. You visit your homeopath for an initial consultation, receive only a few doses of a remedy, and if it’s the correct one, would go for a couple of follow-ups perhaps two months apart. After that, only as needed.** As you can see, even though a classical homeopathy consultation may appear pricier compared to let’s say an acupuncture treatment, in the long term it comes out actually very cost-effective as you don’t need so many visits to promote a permanent remission.

9. Effectivity of treatment
I don’t know of any actual statistical resources but according to my own research among my homeopathy colleagues, the effectiveness of homeopathy, meaning a permanent disappearance of symptoms and complete restoration to health, or at least a significant reduction of symptoms is somewhere between 70-80%. Keep in my that holistic treatment is usually only second people’s choice after they’ve tried and were failed at the conventional route, which oftentimes leaves behind its own load of toxic baggage. We are treating conditions for which western medicine has often no cure, nor an understanding of the causes.
Keep in mind that no modality, no magic is 100% effective. Whoever boasts and makes promises to the contrary, is simply a quack who seeks to trick you. Unfortunately, there are many of those in the holistic healing market place, and they’re very successful. So, go by your gut sense, find someone honest with whom you resonate. Don’t fall just for flashy marketing, wild promises, and high price tags. The real gems amongst healers often wear unspectacular hats, but they will sincerely want to help you.
The 20% unsuccessful cases might be down to incorrect methodology, experience or other obstacles to cure. There are lots of toxicity, mineral deficiencies, etc. in the environment today, which makes the work of homeopathy much harder and more complex than it was 100 years ago.
10. Have fun!
As with any healing, there are actually no hard and fast rules. Healing, so tightly connected to our Soul’s journey, is a deep mystery, no matter what anyone says. Sometimes we are ready to heal, sometimes we think we are ready to heal, and sometimes we need our illness just a bit longer. We need it to teach us, to serve us. Sometimes the illness itself is our life path. Sometimes, what we really need to learn is that we can never be broken.
Despite all the different rules and schools of homeopathy, it’s a relatively simple and safe system of healing. There is an art and strong intuition element to it, and lots of people have taken it, perhaps after just a short weekend course and made it their own, and sometimes, they got lucky with it. Hence there is lots of various advice and products to be seen nowadays, and lots of it, even homeopaths among themselves cannot agree upon. So, don’t be afraid of it, trust your gut and try what you feel called to try. And if you need help with any serious or longstanding condition you can always seek the advice of an experienced classical homeopath. Many work online nowadays and their fees range from 40-400eur (and more) per session. I wish everyone to get the treatment they need!
